Sairah Sheikh competes in Washington DC
for the National Spelling Bee

On live national TV on ESPN3 Sairah competed today in the Preliminary Rounds spelling both her words - Trichonosis and Belligerent correctly

Unfortunately based on her results from the 25 word written test (see below) she got more than 2 wrong and was not slected as one of the 41 Semi-Finalists

South Windsor Local District Finals
besting 23 other competitiors
from grades 4 - 8 and will move on to the National competition in Washington DC
