The view from the stage can be somewhat intimidating. Your son or daughter will be
looking at the pronouncer and the judge. Our goal is to keep the school competitions
as fun as possible and one idea we have is your ability to sponsor a word.

Here's how it works.

Every so many words (depending on the number of competitors and
the generosity of our parents and businesses), the pronouncer will say:

"The Next Word is Sponsored by Jill and Tom Smithfield. The word is Studious"

Imagine the surprise when your child hears the name of his or her parents or
other family members during the competition.

One Word $10

Three Words $25

Sponsored words for a specific child will not be read when the specific child
is about to spell a word. Every effort will be made to read your ad while
your family member is still competing but all ads may not be able to be
completed in the first few rounds.  The committe's intent is to not read
sponsored words near the end of competition.
